Team Science Workshop Series:
Moving from What to How

The Team Science literature is full of knowledge about what it takes to build a strong and effective research team. The “What” is relatively easy to understand, it makes sense to us, and is easy to share with others.

This Workshop Series focuses on the “How”

There is strong evidence that trust and psychological safety are essential for healthy team dynamics. It is well appreciated that productive conflict is essential. And it is hard to read about Team Science and not come across a phrase indicating the power of bringing people together from different disciplines to solve complex research problems.

This Workshop Series will help you learn:

  • How to build trust and psychological safety in teams

  • How to shift from unproductive to productive conflict and minimize defensiveness

  • How to fully leverage difference and diversity to enhance creativity and innovation
